1.4310 (Grade 301) stainless steel is an extra hard austenitic stainless steel alloy with exceptional shape control when laser cutting and etching. Type 301 (1.4310) offers high strength and good corrosion resistance at ambient temperatures.With nominal composition of 17 percent chromium and 7 percent nickel 304 ss is suited to applications that require a high tensile strength of up to 1800 Mpa, to produce tempers ranging from 1/16 Hard to Full Hard.1.4310 stainless steel is commonly used in welding, forming and drawing and is ideally suited to component parts that have to withstand great mechanical force. EN 1.4319 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. X5CrNi17-7 is the EN chemical designation.1.4319 stainless steel has a fairly high ductility among wrought austenitic stainless steels. In addition, it has a moderately low embodied energy and a moderately low base cost.
